How to use

From first setup to everyday use, follow the flow of the real app screens.

    Create a reunion

    Set the date and where each of you will be. Trips and visits can run side by side.

    Record the waiting days

    Keep photos and notes from the time apart. It does not have to be every day.

    Save things to do together

    List what you want to do when you meet. On a shared reunion you can add to it together.

    Keep the day in an album

    Save a photo and reflection from the day you meet, or change the date if plans move.

    Set up notices and widgets

    Choose which notifications you want in Settings, then place a widget on your Home or Lock Screen.

In more detail

First setup

  1. Open the app to see a short introduction.
  2. Create your first reunion with names, places and a date.
  3. After you save, Home opens and the countdown begins.

No account or sign-in is required.

Create a reunion

  1. Tap the plan name at the top of Home.
  2. Choose “Create a new reunion”.
  3. Enter names, places and the reunion date, then save.

Edit a reunion

  1. Open the edit control on Home.
  2. Change the date, time, places or names.
  3. Saving also updates notifications and widgets.

Memories while apart

  1. From Home, open “Add photo or note”.
  2. Choose a photo, add a note, and save.
  3. One photo per entry. You can edit or delete later.

Add things to do

  1. From Home, open “Add something to do”.
  2. Add a title, optional note and photo, then save.
  3. On reunion day you can mark wishes as completed.

Capture reunion day

  1. When reunion time arrives, the reunion screen opens.
  2. Save a photo and reflection to finish.
  3. If plans change, you can postpone the date and time.

Browse albums

  1. Open the “Album” tab.
  2. Select a completed reunion to revisit its photo and reflection.
  3. You can group reunions with the same person into one album.

Add a Home Screen widget

  1. Touch and hold an empty area of the Home Screen.
  2. Choose Edit, then Add Widget.
  3. Search for Remeet and place the size you like.

Add a Lock Screen widget

  1. Touch and hold the Lock Screen to customize it.
  2. Tap a widget area and choose Remeet.
  3. Place an inline, circular or rectangular style.

Notification settings

  1. Open the Settings tab.
  2. Open Notifications.
  3. Toggle one week before, the day before, the morning of, and at reunion time independently.

Permission is requested after you save your first reunion.

Add to Calendar

  1. Open Settings.
  2. Tap Calendar.
  3. After confirmation, the selected reunion is added to your device calendar.

Change the language

  1. Open the iOS Settings app.
  2. Select Remeet.
  3. Change the language under Language.

Delete all data

  1. Open Settings and choose Delete all data at the bottom.
  2. Read what goes and what stays, then press the red button.
  3. Shared reunions are unshared first, then Remeet data on this device is removed.

This cannot be undone. A partner you shared with loses access too. Purchased Share Passes and your block list are kept. Make sure important photos also live in the Photos app.
